Kinfolk L'esprit de la Mer PORTUGAL

Estávamos em Março quando recebemos da Kinfolk aquilo que seriam as linhas a seguir para este
primeiro jantar. O mar era o que devíamos celebrar... Como País à beira mar plantado, não poderíamos
deixar de começar logo a magicar algo com vista para o mar, uma estrutura envelhecida pela maresia
e em sintonia com a natureza.

On the month of March we received form Kinfolk what would become the first guide lines for this dinner.
We would be celebrating the sea… Being a country with so much tradition of the sea, we couldn’t
imagine anything else but doing it with an amazing ocean view, an aged wood structure and in
perfect sync with nature.

Depressa nos apercebemos que a natureza seria a melhor "casa" para nos receber.
Sem infra-estruturas e sem plano B decidimos arriscar e na sorte da maré veio
um dos dias mais veranescos da primavera.

Soon we understood that nature would be the best ‘house’ for this event. With no infrastructures
and no plan B we decided to take a chance and with the tide came luck, offering us one of the
sunniest and warmest day of spring you could ask for.

Tendo a natureza como cenário tudo o resto foi mais fácil, a decoração estava feita e mais uma
vez contámos com a presença do Sebastião e da Mónica, que felizmente estão sempre prontos
a alinhar de alma e muito coração neste tipo de projectos, no fundo achamos que já fazem parte
deles, quem conhece o Sebastião sabe que cozinhar, e assim, é realmente a praia dele sendo
um peixe totalmente dentro de água que faz com que o dia se torne uma experiência à mesa,
de estar à mesa,conVIVER, e desfrutar de novos paladares.

Having nature as the backdrop, everything else was easy. The decoration was nearly done and once
again we were accompanied by Sebastião and Mónica, always ready and available for this kind of
events giving their heart and soul, which in fact they are already a part of them. Anyone who knows
Sebastião knows the cooking he does is like this, it’s the way he likes to do things as a fish likes
to be in the water, which makes the day a whole new experience being at the table, and to
appreciate new flavours.

O resto foi desfrutar de um dia com a simplicidade e beleza da natureza, estar ao livre, respirar e viver
no melhor dos cenários possíveis neste país incrivelmente belo, à beira mar plantado!

What was left was a day spent with simplicity and the beauty of nature, to be on outdoors, to breathe and live in one of the best scenery this beautiful country has to offer so close to the sea!

As imagens, para mim belas, que vos mostramos desta vez ficaram a cargo do Chris um amigo
do Rodrigo e agora de todos nós, que registou e bem o dia porque na mesma data estivemos
de alma e coração mais a Sul deste país algo que mais tarde iremos também mostrar.

E já que falámos de fotografia...quanto ao vídeo,como sempre, foi feito pela mesma pessoa o Bruno.
